2033, ChatGPTTube: How to use a HUMAN for MedSchool application
Lol this is a setup 🤣
Normally your content is great, but this has an unhinged feel to it.
GPT software cannot be detected reliably, and will always be in an arms-race condition with the detectors. It cannot be pulled apart from the dataset and is so nimble and adaptable that you can just ask it to write in the style of author X, or a combination of author's styles at it will do so.
Prompt engineering is very real, and this will easily hit a point where detection software simply cannot reliably flag humans work with any degree of certainty. There is no analysis which can pull the two apart at least in theory.
Med school students are selected specifically for selfish traits (maximum GPA, maximum research, minimal investment in others) why would anyone be surprised
Med school will never adapt to AI based applications, just look at the timeline in your own video. AI is changing so much week by week, two years from now in 2025 it will have FAR more capability, by 2027 there may be serious concerns over civil instability over it and possibly a new architectural paradigm (~100x greater ability).
chatGPT can easily create reliable and interesting sub-stories and basically do your entire application if you told it just about everything that happened to you. AIs CAN tell your story for you, and they do NOT rob you of your own voice. People aren't here to be genuine, they're here to get into med school. Assuming you actually ensure your story is accurate before submission, you will have no problems being interviewed on it.
Everything will eventually be computer science. Not using the newest and most powerful tools will put you at a disadvantage to those who can use them better.
I really don’t think people just put a prompt on GPT and copy an past to there final assignments. I could be wrong, because that’s just too easy. How I use it (if I were to). Give it a prompt, add additional info, change the sentence structure and add to the ideas so it’s in my own words. It help me begin to write, but after I’ve done the work more than 80-90% of the essay would be changed, added to, and put in my own word with personal experience and education etc. I don’t use chat, because there’s no need to that in my degree, but I can extrapolate and see how I could use it.
My personal statement (to get in undergrad school) sounds more boring and generic than GPT's at this point. HELPPP
I really thought this video will be about how we can use Chat GPT to enhance studying , creating flash cards etc . Its very disappointing to see that this is the highlight of his applications .
I started laughing when I saw this. This has to be a troll video for April first
I see a lot of individuals missed the ENTIRE point of this video. It wasn't about giving cheat codes or providing shortcuts. If anything, he was promoting premeds to not rely too heavily on these AI tools that, like it or not, WILL become part of our future. People need to stop allowing their emotions and political biases to cloud their judgment. ChatGPT as he said, can also even the playing field for students with language or financial disadvantages. Not everyone has parents willing to throw money at them for editing or consultation services. Get out of your own head and try to have some empathy…with a healthy dose of realism.
