When chef Massimo Bottura approached for the first time to take care of the legendary Ristorante Cavallino in the Ferrari factory in Maranello, he rejected the offer. “I didn’t think I could do it, so I said no,” says Bottura.
Born and raised in the nearby Modena, Bottura, holder of three Michelin stars in his restaurant Osteria Francescana in the heart of the city, just 30 minutes from Maranello, he was familiar with Cavallino from an early age.
