A young man has revealed how he made thousands of euros selling household items in just 12 months.
23-year-old Luke Williams started selling old phones eBay while working on a construction site, however, this did not cover his bills.
It then branched out to source housewares from wholesalers and sell them on Amazon in June 2021, the Daily star relationships.

In the beginning, Luke was earning €1,150, but this soon increased to €34,500 a month, which led him to quit his job in January 2022.
In a short time, 12 months, he managed to extract 207,270 euros in profit from the resale of household products such as meat grinders and air fresheners.
The dealer, from Bristolhe said: “I started by buying old phones from Facebook and reselling them on eBay. I just wanted to make an extra 1,150 euros a month because it would help me with the extra payments I had.
“I went to university, studied construction and land surveying and went to work on a construction site. I did that for about a year. I started selling on Amazon in June 2021. I earned 207,270 euros of which most coming from the last six months.”
Luke graduated in June 2020 and started working on a construction site but soon realized he wasn’t making enough money to pay all the bills and started selling on eBay.
He added, “I just wasn’t making enough money. I stumbled upon Amazon FBA and realized I could buy from wholesalers and also sell on the app.
“What I sell ranges from air fresheners, mincers, telephones, baby toys and changing tables. Thornton’s chocolates are very popular at the moment.”
Most of the profits came from the past six months, and he said the cost-of-living crisis played a part.
“It’s not just food prices that have skyrocketed, it’s petrol prices as well,” he continued.
“People don’t want to leave their homes and drive to the supermarket. If you buy things on Amazon, you can buy them cheaper because you don’t even have to pay to go to the supermarket.”
His earnings to date mean he was able to pay off his Mercedes Benz and fly business class to Abu Dhabi. Luke also hired two staff members to prepare and source products.
