A music venue in edinburgh city center It has reached the market after closing its doors in 2020.

The Jam House, on Queen Street, was well-liked and known for its live music. musicDJ performances, food, drink and dancing.



Spanning over five floors, the grand Georgian house is on sale for a whopping £2.3 million, with the opportunity for the new owners to reinstate it as Jam House.

In 2005 the former BBC Broadcasting House was converted into a unique music venue with the involvement of television and music legend Jools Holland, who also has a successful venue of the same name in Birmingham which has been running since 1999.

Speaking about the venue when the plan was announced, Jools said: “I’m delighted to say we got the BBC building where I was many years ago, doing the festival.

“And now, because we had such happy memories of the place, we’ve torn it apart inside and turned it into a nightclub.
