Indian origin man found guilty of killing three teens who rang doorbell prank America tstf

A man crushed three minors to death with a car just because they rang the doorbell of his house. The person was drunk at the time of the incident. Now he has been found guilty of premeditated murder. The case is California of America.

According to the news agency, the name of this Indian-origin person convicted by the court is Anurag Chandra. In 2020, some boys jokingly rang the doorbell of Anurag’s house. Anurag got so angry on this that he crushed three boys to death with the car. The speed of the car at the time of the incident was around 160 km/h.

The three boys who died after being hit by a car near Temescal Valley were just 16 years old. Their names are Daniel Hawkins, Drake Ruiz and Jacob Lavasu. Two more boys were injured in this incident. Thankfully his life was saved. A boy named Sergio Campusano, who escaped alive, told that we had just rang the doorbell in jest. We had absolutely no idea that this joke would prove to be fatal. Sergio further said that the collision of the car was so fast that we do not remember anything.

‘I drank 12 beers’

Anurag accepted in the court that he was angry with the people who rang the bell of the house. They ran away after teasing him. Because of this he chased the boys but the brakes of the car could not be applied on the spot and this accident happened. His aim was not to kill the boys. He just wanted to teach them a lesson. Because he was worried about the safety of his family.

Anurag also told that he was very drunk on the day of the incident. At that time he had drunk 12 beers. He was driving the car at a speed of 159 kmph. His sentence can be announced on July 14.

During a court hearing on the incident in January 2020, Riverside County District Attorney Mike Hestrin said in a statement on Friday – The murder of these youths was a horrific and senseless tragedy for our community. I thank the jury for their decision. At the same time, Anurag’s lawyer David Wohl has described the decision as ‘unfortunate’. He claimed that the crime was not done intentionally. Wohl said that he would approach the higher court.

Apart from this, Anurag was accused of domestic violence in 2020. A case was also registered against him regarding this. Its investigation is also going on.
