  1. It's common sense when men burn more calories and use more vitamins and nutrients quicker. So yes fasting is perfect for women the fact y'all have to eat less to get the same effect seems lost on modern society

  2. I read several times that IF is really good also for women 40+ BUT NOT TO DO IT in the last phase of cyclus. Also in that phase to avoid doing alot of heavy sport, more yoga, walking…there was actually potcast from BBC

  3. It does alter your hormones depending on the duration of fast and the particular time of the cycle. Don't be a lazy Doctor. It's disingenuous to point to 1 or 2 papers as your way of debunking what he's saying. I'm living proof that longer hours at a certain time of the cycle can get your cycle out of whack!

  4. How would it alter hormones? I genuinely would love to read these studies in entirety. Can someone link it. I believe the last meal you eat before going into a fasting state can effect how you metabolize the meal while fasting. So some people not even just women think fasting is the end all be all and it’s not. You should still be having Vegys protein healthy fats. Not a sugar filled meal before fasting. A lot kind of goes into it. But fasting will for sure support your body if done correctly.

  5. My goodness IF has been a practice since BC (and not always by choice), and those women had no problem conceiving and giving birth… no disrespect, but I don't care that you went to college and got your medical degree, but if you're a male doctor, your advice and opinions go in one ear and sprint out the other. You're advised is text book. I prefer a female doctor, they can be more relatable as they sometimes experience what we real women go through with our bodies, and can better understand what we are experiencingand goingthrough. Sorry men, you don't have those skills or experience.
