Sadly, too often we have seen how natural disasters can cause lasting damage to entrepreneurial women and men who build businesses, employ local community members and contribute to the Australian economy. Small businesses create vitality in our communities, employ two in five people in private sector employment and contribute a third of our GDP, so building their resilience is absolutely worth it.
