  1. When F1 racing was in it's purity. Too much political gamesmanship by teams these days, too much emphasis on safety, not enough balls to the wall action.

    You can no longer see the driver at work in the cockpit.

  2. This is some wholesome content. So special to watch, I sometimes wish I was born in another time. I would’ve given my right leg to watch Lauda and Hunt battle it out live rather than only watching replays because of my age

  3. Attended the ‘72, ‘73, and ‘74 GP’s at Watkins Glen (ugh, do I feel old). $75 for the entire weekend😊! The howl of the Cosworth, and the scream of a Ferrari flat 12 and the shriek of the Matra V-12. You could stroll thru the garage and the drivers were happy to autograph anything WITHOUT charge. And $100,000 bought you a V-8 Cosworth and rebuilds for the entire season, (17 races).
