We'll all need to be careful with AI. Italy is forcing OpenAI to disclose exactly how it processes user data. they have until April 30th to comply or it wouldn't be officially available there. Knowing that, it might be wise to hold off on using it if you want to be sure you're not snooped into, spammed or even spooked by various third party marketers or even others who know uncanny information about you. Data can always be bought and sold to the highest bidder in the type of world we live in.

I believe the mad rush for a Godlike AI isn't so much for the capitalistic motivations we often assign to reckless actions by corporations, rather I believe it is the quest of immortality by those behind the it (Pichai, Gates, ect).
By creating a Godlike self improving AI they can greatly accelerate the mapping of the human brain and successful transfer their own consciousness from it's current fragile organic form to a far more sustainable media. Immortality.
