Liberty Shield VPN – Totally Worth It and Why You Need One Now

Are you using a ZGemma box or an IPTV service?

Has it been blocked recently during the weekends?

Continue reading below for a new plug and play solution to solve this problem.

You may have noticed that when Premiere League is on, your IPTV service isn’t.

This is primarily due to major ISP’s targeting and blocking IPTV services during Premiere League games.

As mentioned in the article above, your ISP (think BT, Sky, Virgin Media) are blocking any IPTV related traffic.

Your ISP basically sits between you and your access to the internet as shown in the simple diagram below:

So what’s a VPN?

In simple terms – it’s a virtual private network to connect resources of one network over another.

Now – you could potentially buy a subscription through NordVPN or IPVanish (who btw I also use) but these require you to install onto a local machine and this reqiuires additional setup steps for ZGemma boxes.

Rather than go through those additional steps to uplaod software onto your ZGemma box, Liberty Shield has a simply plug-and-play VPN.

Simply plug it into your router so that it receives internet and then connect your ZGemma box to the VPN router

As seen above, the Liberty Shield VPN is connected to the Virgin Media router so that internet is supplied.  These are the green circles.

The ZGemma box is then connected to the Liberty Shield VPN router as shown in the red circles.

The results are simple – your network traffic is then blocked from your ISP meaning they can’t filter your IPTV streaming during Premier League or any other times.

Final verdict – yep, Liberty Shield is worth it.

It’s simple to setup – requires no installation and has the added benefit of broadcasting an additional WIFI network at your home securely for any PC’s, phones or tablets.
