SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WICS) —
Lincoln Land Community College Continuing, Corporate and Professional Education will offer a small business leadership development boot camp from September 2024 to February 2025 on the LLCC campus (5250 Shepherd Rd).
The LLCC program provides basic leadership development training aimed at reducing employee turnover and improving small business leadership and effectiveness.
Participants will participate in three hours monthly of in-person classroom training on essential leadership topics and a monthly one-hour small group mind/coaching session to learn from other leaders.
They will also receive a 30-minute one-on-one coaching session each month with a certified professional leadership coach to receive personalized advice on topics specific to their business.
The program will be taught by Tess Fyalka, a leadership development coach, team coach and corporate coach with 25 years of experience and one of the few professional leadership coaches worldwide certified by ACTC through the International Coaching Federation.
The program will accept a total of 20 participants and has a registration fee of $250. The program is funded in part by a grant from the Illinois Community College Board.
