However, a look at the photos of the semi-detached property online reveals an unexpected guest; a life-size mannequin sitting under the stairs.

The listing does not mention the doll, simply describing a “mid-terrace family home located in a popular location within 3.5 miles of downtown.”

The agents at Henstock Property Services highlight the gas central heating, UPVC double glazed windows and spacious rear patio, but nothing about the dummy.

There’s also no indication as to whether it will be included in the sale, so it may be worth asking if you plan to buy.

Other than this, there is a lot to love about the house.

The location makes it ideal for Manchester commuters, while the spacious outdoor area including a shed and conservatory, large kitchen and multiple bathrooms offer plenty of potential.

Whilst some modernization may be required, it is competitively priced compared to the local average (according to Rightmove) of £205,838.

As long as you’re not afraid of dolls, it might be the place for you.
