- Mariah Carey just hit the stage in Las Vegas wearing a structured minidress with a golden fringe that shows off her totally toned legs.
- The singer has been known to find alternatives to the gym (she’s not a big fan) that include things like swimming, longs walks, and water aerobics.
- And while she maintains a healthy lifestyle, Mariah is all about embracing her natural curves.
Mariah Carey is known for putting on a stellar performance, and she didn’t disappoint at the Lovers & Friends music festival in Vegas this month. The 54-year-old shared photos and a video of herself totally owning the stage, while looking super toned and happy.
In photos from the event, Mariah was working a structured, black minidress with a gold hem that showed off miles of strong legs as she worked her way through hits like “Fantasy” and “One Sweet Day.” There’s Mariah smiling broadly as she sings, Mariah being escorted around the stage by dancers, and Mariah belting it out while men in black tank tops and gold pants danced behind her.
“Thank you Lovers and Friends, I enjoyed ya! ❤️🦋,” she wrote in the caption. It seemed like the entire Internet was ready to cheer her on in the comments. “Flawless!! ❤️🔥,” one person wrote, while her boyfriend Bryan Tanaka chimed in with, “You were stunning as always! ❤️👑🦋.”
Here’s another full-length shot of her legs:
If you are wondering how Mariah gets those super toned and strong legs, Women’s Health has got the deets for you. For one, the singer has been open about not really loving traditional workouts. She’s even joked about it on video, where she filmed herself walking on the treadmill and using a VersaClimber in heels.
But Mariah is still sure to stay really active. A source previously told Hollywood Life that the singing legend is big on walks. “Mariah’s never been a huge fan of going to the gym, but she always forces herself to go for a brisk walk every day, even if it’s on the treadmill, and she also tries to fit in a daily session of swimming and water aerobics,” they said. Mariah also talked about her water aerobics to People, telling the magazine that she flies someone in from St. Barts to lead her sessions.
She’s also not scared to push herself to try new things. Check out this video of Mariah jumping off the side of a yacht and swimming around in the gorgeous blue water:
She’ll also take her kids skiing—a sport that’ll definitely work your booty, quads, and core:
Mariah hasn’t said much about her diet and nutritional plans lately, but she previously told E! News that she likes to eat a lot of protein, including salmon. Hollywood Life also reported that she will, at times, cut out processed sugar, too.

Most importantly, though, Mariah talks about having a healthy view on body image. “I don’t feel like you have to be a size zero,” she told People. “We should all just embrace who we are physically. I’m not supposed to be a stick figure girl. It’s just not me.”
Mariah Carey, everyone!
