Mercedes-Maybach is adopting a new look for what it hopes will be a new generation of buyers, one eager to embrace its new electrified luxury models. The new Night Series will be offered in all three models at the current Maybach alignment, with the Classes and EQS SUV variants arriving later this year with the GLS to follow in early 2024.
While the execution of each night series depends on the model in question, they do share some common elements. Its headlights, for example, are all adorned with dark chrome Maybach logos on rose gold accents. You’ll find that dark chrome just about anywhere you’d normally see shine, from the grille and outer trim to the trim liner on the rear exhaust. And then there are those wheels. I don’t know what to say, honestly. Just look at them. And while you’re at it, take a look at the running boards on the EQS SUV.
While the cars shown here are pretty uniform, the differentiation will come in the form of trim options and more individual customization. All three are offered in the two-tone Obsidian Black/Mojave Silver combination shown here. The EQS SUV will also be available in Obsidian Black and Manufaktur Diamond White finishes, the S-Class can be done in various shades of grey, black and white, and the GLS can be had in either white or Obsidian Black.
Inside you’ll find herringbone-pattern open pore wood with aluminum accents along with another touch of dark chrome. The SUV EQS and GLS can be chosen with Nappa leather in two-tone Crystal White/Black Pearl or simply Black Pearl. In the S-Class, you can make Nappa leather in Deep White/Black Pearl or straight Black Pearl.
Look out for more on the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class and EQS SUV Night Series soon, with more on the GLS variant coming closer.
