Miami, August 26, 2024 – Miami Dade College (MDC) is accepting applications for the next Goldman Sachs 10,000 small businesses (10KSB) program ready to go Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at MDC Wolfson Campus. The application deadline is October 15, 2024.
The 10KSB program is a practical, classroom-based business education program that provides entrepreneurs with valuable skills to grow their businesses, the opportunity to access financial capital, and powerful networking opportunities. Free of charge for participants. The curriculum includes personalized coaching, clinics, and workshops taught by subject matter experts. Participants also learn how to identify and evaluate opportunities, understand financial statements, hire, retain, and manage employees, negotiate successfully, and create a comprehensive growth plan, among other lessons.
Launched in 2013, the 10KSB program has so far graduated 836 local small business owners, helping them grow and expand their businesses.
Requirements to apply:
- Owner or co-owner of a business
- Company in operation for at least two years
- Business income of at least $75,000 in the most recent tax year
- Minimum two employees (including the owner)
