Aston Martin technical director Dan Fallows has underlined the importance of the team’s recent move to its new state-of-the-art F1 campus, describing it as an “incredibly exciting time” for the Silverstone operation.
Having brought the Aston Martin name back to F1 in 2021, owner Lawrence Stroll set out an ambitious five-year plan to become a leading force, including creating a 400,000 square foot facility housing the team’s design, manufacturing and marketing resources, as well as its first wind tunnel and a simulator.

At the end of May, Aston Martin revealed that the first members of the team had moved into the campus, which replaces an aging factory used in various ways and dates back to the Jordan team’s debut in 1991.
When asked about the move and whether Aston Martin is already starting to see benefits, Fallows said: “Our new technology campus is almost complete now. The technical offices are already occupied, we moved a couple of weeks ago, and it has been fantastic.

“We were, as you probably knew, working in a combination of an old building and some portable booths, etc. Having everyone, particularly the design office, in the same room is a big step forward for us.”

“We have considered concentrating on expanding that operating window of the car, and that is particularly what we are focusing on with these updates.”
