Norris was quick from the start in Singapore, more than putting an end to his qualifying woes in Baku, which had given him a disappointing starting position.

But with Verstappen finishing second despite Red Bull struggling at times throughout the weekend, it’s clear that McLaren have a tough task on their hands to overtake the Dutchman by enough points to win both the drivers’ and constructors’ championships.
