Most small business owners want a change in government

This week, Rishi Sunak announced that there will be a general election on July 4, 2024. The long-awaited announcement could result in a change of government in the second half of this year.

Startups.es conducted a survey of 546 UK small businessesit was found that 58% of businessmen believed that a change of government in 2024 would have an impact positive impact about their prospects. Only 9% considered that it would have a negative impact.

The survey also found that more business they felt that they had survived (51%) instead of prosperous (42%) over the past year, so it’s no surprise that many welcomed the change.
