Winning at the front doesn't meant JL99 leading the race from start to finish & also u not gonna race wheel to wheel on every 20-25 lap-ish. Get it done & manage the gap if necessary that was Lorenzo

Lorris Capirossi used start a foot or two back from his starting mark sometimes as a sort of "get out of jail free card" incase he jumped the start, whereas the rest of the riders would get their bikes as close to the mark as allowed.
