MUST HAVE: Hamilton ends FP3 after crashing into barriers in Monaco

The third and final practice session of the Monaco Grand Prix weekend ended prematurely when Lewis Hamilton crashed into the barrier, triggering the red flags and limiting the rest of the grid preparations ahead of qualifying.

Hamilton was on a fast lap on a fresh set of soft tires and had just set the fastest first sector of the day, but lost the rear of his car at Mirabeau. Although he tried to correct the slip, he ended up wedged into the barrier.

This brought out the red flags, but with less than three minutes to go in FP3, the session ended early, bringing final qualifying sim racing down to the majority of the grid.
