  1. My 3 year old has issues with most tomato products (except ketchup, 🤷‍♀️). Ask him if his tummy hurts after eating pizza and spaghetti. It's weird that nobody talks about it, but nighshades are not easy to digest.

  2. I made breakfast tacos with hand-formed shells for my youngest humans. The eggs inside were exactly how she likes them. Huge screaming match.

Her older siblings were always involved i food prep and cooking amd loved everything. This one won't sprinkle cheese on a ready to top, hand-thrown pizza.

  3. Inverse correlation*

Also, crackers could be a safe food because they are exactly thesame every time. If I'm right, he also prefers hard fruit (e.g. granny smith apples, grapes) over soft fruit (e.g. strawberries); not because of how it tastes, but of how reliable its texture is – considering it the safe option.

  5. I just got punished growing up if I didn’t eat what was made, local baby sitter was a cast Iron Lady who raised 4-5 generations of the neighborhood. She looked after everything from newborns to mid to late teens. She was not having any type of fuss eaters.

Never a picky eater but some stuff just wasn’t for me, as you got older you got a choice sometimes or could refuse to eat but as a young child? Nah.
