NFIB Names Rep. Adam Holmes Small Business Guardian

NFIB Award Recognizes Legislators for Their Support of Ohio Small Businesses

The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), Ohio’s leading small business advocacy organization, today presented its coveted Small Business Guardian Award to State Representative Adam Holmes (HD-97). The award is the most prestigious award the NFIB gives to legislators for their efforts to support small businesses.

“Reps. Holmes is a true advocate for small businesses and we are pleased to name him guardian today,” said Chris Ferruso, NFIB Ohio State Director. “As a small business owner and member of the NFIB, Rep. Holmes has a strong understanding of of issues affecting the small business community and has been a trusted advocate for them on Capitol Hill. He earned a 95% voting record in the NFIB and was a lead sponsor of healthcare transparency legislation. , an important issue for Ohio’s small employers. We are confident that he will continue to be a pro-small business legislator and we are proud to recognize him today.”

Rep. Adam Holmes represents the Ohio 97th House District, which includes all of Muskingum County and western Guernsey County. He has been a member of the NFIB since 1979. Ferruso introduced Rep. Holmes at FruhQuip Inc., his NFIB member company in Zanesville.
