Notorious gangster Anil Dujana alias Anil Nagar has been killed by STF in an encounter. UP STF has carried out this action in Meerut. STF had received information that Anil was planning to carry out a big crime. Because of this the search for him started. In this sequence, information was received about his hiding in Meerut.
Dujana has more than 60 criminal cases registered in the national capital Delhi and Uttar Pradesh. In this, FIRs have been registered against Dujana in serious cases like murder, robbery, dacoity and extortion in several districts of Uttar Pradesh including Noida, Ghaziabad, Muzaffarnagar.
The police of Delhi and UP were continuously searching for him. Last year, the Delhi Police had also arrested Dujana and two of his associates. Dujana is a resident of Gautam Buddha Nagar. In 2011, his gang shot out at a wedding ceremony in Sahibabad, in which three people were killed.
