Cher did look good in the day…
Pffft that's nothing, where I'm from my mom would throw me down the stairs if I ever raised my voice at her
GenZ thinks movies are real life
You mean, a movie?
That was a TouchΓ© slap ππ»
They are both iconic and beautiful β€
Yup thatβs definitely how it was in the 80 and 90s not how itβs been forever thatβs how it was done in the 80s and 90s yup mmhmm ah yup
this is before Winnie gone klepto right?
I've seen these celebrities glitch on live TV several times.
MK ULTRA
Good scene, bad title.
Thanks for Chering
This is so parenting methods in the 80s and 90s this makes me think of my parents in the 80s and 90s and I think that this is so accurate to who they are and who everyone who was a parent in the 80s and 90s and I think this is also funny and hurts, just a little
Parents will abuse or neglect their kids and then as soon as the kid is 18 go, βyouβre an adult your behavior is all on youβ as if they didnβt just spend the first almost two decades of that kidβs life causing them legitimate trauma induced brain damage. That baffles me.
Hit that bitch!!!π
Movie was set in 1963 my guy
Way off. This film is based in the 60's
It's too bad that she stresses the wrong word in "Maybe YOUR life works for you". The fact that she says "but it doesn't work for ME" shows that the first emphasis should be "Maybe your life works for YOU".
Parenting in the 80s, in a movie set in the 60s….
And Winona turned out just fine. Parenting: effective.
Cher is a man.
What A Fabulous scene
Wait, Cher was dating Super Mario in this movie…
πππππππππππ
If they not working or going to school, n they live under you're roof, they gone get a ass whopping good job mama, parents out there don't let this lazy disrespectful kids talk to you like this beat their ass, n if they wanna leave let them, they will come back hungry, n crying.. a parent its a parent not a friend… you wanna be an adult get out. You gone see how harsh life really is, that slap aimt shit, life hits you harder
She is beautiful β€οΈ
High level of acting. Perfect
Pretty much in a nutshell.
Yeah, kids nowdays need this method. Think you are too smart – go pack your stuff
We all know how her parenting went with her daughter.
Is that… Owen Wilson in a wig?
Ok, nowadays we have set aside this sort of behaviours. But what about parental abuse by children?
The methods (progressive pedagogy) used by the people who comment here, often do not work
And talking also is a futile task because is not the same to be a child (the brain is still developing) than an adult.
What do you all think about it?
60s, actually.
No latino/latina could talk to their mom like this and expect to be alive the next day.
Mermaids is based in the 60s.
See how easy it was to stop kids ranting senselessly back then π€
Don't talk back… Talk to the hand!
Thirty years later: Oh, the Retirement Home just called. The old hag croaked they tell me. i said just let her rot or burn the carcass, i don't care.
Human stupidity is best exposed in parents who abuse their children without realizing that the children will make them pay for everything when they reach old age. First, by go dumping them like a garbage bag full of crap in a retirement home.
I donβt recall the quote Zoomersβ being this defiant. I can almost understand why they are soSocially dysfunctional today. The daughter is not the motherβs equal. The mother is the mother. Play-Doh address this two millennia ago. It just became more rampant in the 80s and 90s
I fucking started to shut tears when she threw the plate on the floor π
Actually the movie is set in the 60s
Love that movie
Wasnβt this movie set in the 60s?
I don't see nothing wrong my motha would've been slapped me afta I threw that plate on the floor
Winona Ryder now is older than Cher in this movie. Krazy
Not any different today
