Peloton wants to be known as more than just an exercise bike company and it revamps its app to achieve that goal. The company offers users three tiers, including a new free tier and a premium tier that costs $24 per month. “With this brand relaunch, we reflect the vibrancy and richness of everything Peloton has to offer everyone,” said Leslie Berland, Peloton’s chief marketing officer in an opinion. “We are shifting perceptions from home to everywhere, from fitness enthusiasts to people of all levels, from exclusivity to inclusivity at all levels.” peloton Members of the present and future.”
The free app offers more than 50 classes in a dozen fitness categories. Live courses are not included, but featured courses are updated regularly.
The middle tier is largely the same as it was before the rework. For $13 per month, users have unlimited access to thousands of classes across categories including yoga, outdoor hiking, and mediation. Plus, they can take up to three machine-based cardio classes each month — and compete in the Peloton’s Challenges.
The $14 monthly tier provides unlimited access to virtually everything Peloton offers, including thousands of courses that can be completed on an indoor rower, bike, or treadmill.
The app will also feature a “Gym” mode, giving users access to guided workouts at fitness centers.
The new app tiers and gym features are available now. However, if you plan to continue using the Peloton-branded devices, the app will not replace the $44 monthly subscription fee that users currently pay.
