  1. As usual, the journalists are involved.

An entire generation of women, my mother included, have been negatively impacted by thia deceit. Where do they go to get their health back? As an attorney, this makes me angry beyond belief. 100% of non trans women will go thru menopause and another generation of women are still being misinformed.

  2. This is shocking how a single newspaper made such an impact with their outrageously distorted article that millions of women decided against taking HRT out of fear and potentially lost health and possibly lives. But there should be multiple studies following after that to gather more data.

  3. I am so livid at this point. I am just past the 50 – 60 window of opportunity and the medical field failed to tell me how much starting estrogen at menopause would have prevented disease and endless suffering. Instead, I have now endured debilitating hot flashes for 16 years… and they still wake me up at night! That WHI piece of trash was clearly biased and those people should have been sued for offering it to the media with bad, misrepresented or cherry-picked data. Baby boomer women will get the brunt from this travesty of "science". And there are so many of us! Good luck with all our diseases – driving up health care costs when so much of it could have been prevented with inexpensive HT. Unbelievable. I am currently reading the book "Estrogen Matters" and it really goes into detail about how bad and mishandled the studies were. This is THE major medical screw-up of the century. Thanks for presenting the facts, but it doesn't do much good for women my age and older.
