Title: Sarah Ferguson Reveals Relationship with Prince Andrew
In a recently released podcast episode with co-host Sarah Thomson, Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, opened up about her personal life and past relationships. Amidst speculation about a possible reconciliation with ex-husband Prince Andrew, Fergie confirmed that she is currently single and looking for a boyfriend. Despite their divorce, Sarah and Prince Andrew have remained close friends and co-parents, even living together at Royal Lodge in Windsor Great Park. In this article, we will explore the unique nature of their post-divorce relationship and how it has evolved over time.
The Unusual Relationship of Fergie and Andrew
Sarah and Andrew’s relationship has always been a subject of fascination for the public. From their highly publicized wedding in 1986 to their separation and subsequent divorce in 1996, the couple has faced numerous trials and tribulations throughout their marriage. However, despite their challenges, they have managed to maintain an unusual relationship that defies traditional boundaries.
According to sources close to the couple, theirs is not a “great passionate romance,” but rather a deep and abiding friendship that has endured over the years. The two have separate bedrooms at Royal Lodge, but they remain utterly devoted to each other and would defend each other to the death. They regularly go on holiday together with their daughters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, and many have speculated that they could one day remarry given that they have not had other significant romantic partners.
Fergie’s Recent Revelations
Despite rumors to the contrary, Fergie has confirmed that she is still single and looking for a boyfriend. During the podcast episode with Sarah Thomson, she admitted that she is “very shy” and trusts too many people. She expressed her desire for a boyfriend when asked by her co-host. However, she did not provide any further details about her romantic life.
The Duchess and Duke’s Unconventional Living Arrangement
One of the most unusual aspects of Sarah and Andrew’s relationship is their cohabitation at Royal Lodge. Despite their divorce, the two have continued to live together, with Sarah referring to Andrew as her “family.” However, with rumors of Prince Charles seeking to kick Andrew out of Royal Lodge and into the smaller Frogmore Cottage, it remains to be seen how much longer they will continue to live together.
The Brighter Side of the Duchess
Despite the challenges she has faced in her personal life, Sarah Ferguson has remained an optimistic and hopeful person. She recently launched her own podcast, Tea Talks with Sarah Ferguson, which aims to inspire, motivate, and uplift listeners. During her podcast episodes, she engages in conversations with a diverse range of guests and shares her unique perspectives on life, love, and the pursuit of happiness.

Sarah Ferguson calls Prince Andrew a ‘good, kind man’
On the first episode, which was released today, the two Sarahs gave an insight into their friendship and their personal lives, with Fergie admitting she is “very shy” and said she “trusts too much” and “too many people”.
As her co-host teased that she wanted to know more the Duchess said: “Do I have a boyfriend? No.”
After her friend asked: “Do you want one?” she replied: “Yes”, seemingly confirming that her and ex-husband Prince Andrew are still just friends.
The royal relationship has been subject to rumours of a reconciliation for many years, particularly after Fergie described her and Andrew as “the happiest divorced couple we know”.
The pair still live together at Royal Lodge in Windsor Great Park, although this arrangement may be under threat if King Charles gets his wish to boot Andrew out into the smaller Frogmore Cottage.
They also regularly holiday together with their daughters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, wtih some speculating that given neither Fergie nor Andrew had had another significant romantic partner they could one day remarry.
Since the death of Prince Philip, with whom she was reportedly not on good terms, the Duchess has begun to be welcomed back into the royal fold, even being invited to spend Christmas at Sandringham by King Charles last year.

When asked on ITV panel show Loose Women if a rekindling of their romance was likely she said: “Oh, goodness me, you’re all fairytale, you’ve all got your wands out. Andrew and I remain steadfast, in the past we’ve been co-parenting and now we’re co-grandparenting.”
A former courtier and source close to Andrew claimed that there is no “great passionate romance” between the two, reported the Daily Mail.
They said: “Theirs is not a great passionate romance – they have separate bedrooms at Royal Lodge – but it’s more about the deepest form of friendship.
“It’s a very unusual relationship for a divorced couple, especially to the outside world, but they’re utterly devoted and would defend each other to the death.”
In another interview, Fergie explained her relationship with Andrew as such: “We’re divorced to each other, not from each other. We are co-parents who support each other and believe that family is everything.
“I’m proud of the job we have done together in bringing up our children and sustaining a strong family unit. Our bywords are communication, compromise and compassion.”
Their family is set to have a new arrival imminently, as the youngest York daughter Eugenie is due to give birth to her second child any day now.
The baby will be a third grandchild for Fergie and Andrew, who are already doting grandparents to Eugenie’s two-year-old son August and Princess Beatrice’s daughter Sienna, 20 months.
