British women’s fashion brand. Knave and friend opened its first store in Scotland in Santiago neighborhood in Edinburgh on Saturday 9 September.

The opening of the new 2,939-square-foot store in Edinburgh comes after a year of expansive growth for the brand, which will also see the opening of a store at Battersea Power Station, London. The only Scamp & Dude store in Scotland will be located on level 3 of Santiago neighborhoodjoining the growing list of fashion brands opening in the mall in the heart of the city, which reopened in 2021.

To kick off the grand opening of the Edinburgh store, Scamp & Dude organized fun activities and gave away an exclusive Edinburgh Scamp & Dude tote bag to shoppers who spent £100 or more during the launch weekend. Founded by Jo Tutchener-Sharp in 2016, Scamp & Dude was created after Jo was separated from her children while she was in hospital undergoing life-saving brain surgery.

Speaking ahead of the launch of the Edinburgh store, Scamp & Dude founder and chief executive Jo Tutchener-Sharp (pictured) said: “We are delighted to bring Scamp & Dude to Edinburgh as our first location in Scotland, as which we believe already exists.  a real flavor for the brand here in Scotland.”

The company's charity campaigns include the #SuperScarfMission, where for every scarf sold, another is donated to a woman starting chemotherapy.  To date, more than 23,000 have been donated through partner hospitals with the mission to reach 63,000 next year (the number of women starting chemotherapy per year).
