Here's a little help with the Internet:
– If it sounds too good to be true, it isn't!
– There are no Nigerian banks, royals, politicians or whatever that randomly sell you a mail to give you a fortune in gold
– If someone claims to be someone he most likely isn't
– Magical genital enlargement or functionality gain medicines are a scam
– There is no pretty Girl in need that loves you so much and needs your money to ultimately join you
– Your bank – if they would EVER call you – will never ask for a pin or password
– Your computer/you is not violating anything or require payment or support of anyone, no matter how serious the site looks, kill the browser and it is hopefully gone, if not seek help from a local IT company not a dumb indian scammer
Random advice on dealing with fake bank/corporation mails:
– Never EVER click any link!
– In case of doubt or uncertainty go to google and look up a service number of the company that sent you the mail, describe the issue and they will certainly tell you to delete and ignore it.
– Flag spam and fraud mails as fraud/phishing/spam/scam to make automated filters more accurate in destroying those mails before they even arrive in the future.
– NEVER EVER GIVE ANYONE REMOTE ACCES TO YOUR COMPUTER, NEVER GIVE AWAY ANY DATA let alone passwords…
List goes on, just use the internet passively if you are too much of a target to use it safely!
This scam has been going on for a long time. Years ago I had to stop a friend from getting sucked in. Good thing she mentioned it to me!
