The first opportunity is personalized assistance from Michael Smith, the Shelby County Chamber’s business owner in residence. Smith will be available for confidential, free one-on-one meetings to discuss any business topic in four available time slots that day, beginning at 8:30 a.m. Walk-ins are not accepted and appointments must be scheduled by Aug. 8 by contacting the chamber’s Karen Williams at 205-663-4542 or by email at karen@shelbychamber.org.
The second opportunity will come when Michael Smith will facilitate an interactive and informative workshop with four successful entrepreneurs from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Panelists for this workshop, sponsored by Valley Bank, include:
- Angie Simonetti, Advanced Landscaping Services

The investment for the workshop, which includes a packed lunch, is $10 per person for TSCC investors and $20 per person for TSCC “future” investors. To assist with proper planning of the Go & Grow workshop, please RSVP to Karen Williams by August 6 at karen@shelbychamber.org or call 205-663-4542.
Both opportunities will be held at the Shelby County Chamber offices located at 1301 County Services Drive in Pelham.
