A recent study reveals a potential risk of cardiovascular disease in women who undergo hysterectomy before the age of 50

A recent study found that having a hysterectomy before the age of 50 may increase the risk of cardiovascular disease, specifically stroke. The study was conducted by researchers from the department of obstetrics and gynecology at Sanggye Paik Hospital, Inje University College of Medicine in South Korea, led by Dr. Jin-Sung Yuk, MD, PhD.
