They need to change something, racing now is taking all we love about f1 the sound, everything is about saving tyres, fuel, there’s not racing 40 laps saving tyre and no different strategy’s

How about just limiting the amount of mechanics to change the tires? Instead of 2.4 second changes maybe they become 5 seconds or more.

No. Are they 1 stopping or 2 or 3? strategists, etc. Always part of the game of F1. If they all have to stop 3 times, like it or not – one step closer to Indycar type regs. Big no. I know where he's coming from but not the answer in my opinion for F1

Keep the 2 compound rule but bring back re fuelling, the rules have changed since re fuelling was banned as the max fuel limit was much higher than it is today!

So far not much racing at the front. Midfield is competitive among themselves. Sky sports team needs an overhaul. Can’t be bothered with pre or post commentary and turn down the volume during the race.

I think we need to stop trying to augment entertainment. The trouble is bigger wheels, DRS, ground effect, tyre compounds etc all its done is make the sport fake.

Let them go flat out. Make the cars a bit simpler

No stop pushing this idiocy. It has already been studied by Pirelli and the teams and the conclusion was that instead of more variance it would cause more constrains on the optimal strategy. ie. stop trying to push this because you think it sounds right.

Why have different compounds in firs place, should be put stops and all run same compound.

One stop races are simply not great for the sport. Minimum of two stops PLEASE!!! 3 stops would be great. The simple
Solution is to make just what KC said, they have to use all three options. If they want to be transparent about it, simply make the tire choices for that weekend impossible to produce a one stop race and hopefully 3 by default, that way if someone pulls off a two stopper it’s really something.
Shortening DRS zones is not helping, and hard compound tires are really killing the excitement. Max should have never been able to take that set so deep in the race. We need variables, jeopardy and excitement. Make them use the softest compounds that won’t last but 5 laps, there should be risk involved. The teams have everything so sorted before the race even starts and droning in lap times to make that one stop strategy work (snooz). Three pit stops is my vote 😊

I want tyres that are designed to optimize the balance between performance and longevity. The less pitstops and reliance on team strategy the better IMO. If the slower car or driver wins because of better team tyre strategy, I think it takes away from the sport. The focus should be on the actual racing between the drivers and their machines. The best one wins.

Once again Pirelli are doing things the wrong way round.
Any new tyres should've been introdiced at the start of the season, not a quarter of the way throught it and on a circuit known for its speed.
Then we hear about Andretti already building a team for 2025, when Domenicali has already stated that there is no room on the grid for a new team, by all means by an existing team, but no room for a new team.
Whos lying, Domenicali or the FIA and Andretti?
If they get a grid slot, then Liberty media has had a massive hand in it and greased a huge amount of palms!
Its bad enough that we'll have 3 races every season in F1 on American soil let alone having Andretti with a team in the sport.
He'll cry about the rules (like he did when attempting to drive in F1), he wont be able to take the pressure F1 applies (totally different to that of IndyCar) plus the factory will need to be based in the UK or Europe because the team wont be able to sustain the shipping costs, not unless they have something up their sleeve to purchase the old Lotus factory!
If thats their route, then they better get a move on, it'll take 18 months to get that site anywhere near ready for a F1 team in 2025.

I would have said that the downside is that we won't get the exciting 2 vs 1 stop battles any more, but nowadays everyone is only 1 stopping anyway. Can't remember the last time we had a 2 stopper come from behind to overtake a 1 stopper in the closing laps.

It’s a good idea and also think all cars should start with full tanks to stop boring fuel saving.

It’s simple just say every drive has to make a minimum 2 pit stop per race . That will stop or limit tyres saving

F1 needs to look at what Indycar does in a number of areas. Push to pass instead of drs, tyre choices and uses, and engines. They go on about making it better and more cost effective, then make simple engines without any hybrid crap on them, that run on sustainable fuels. Oh, and bring back refuelling.

Maybe they shouldn’t be sequential compounds. Maybe c5, c3, and c2. Or 5,4,2. Maybe skip the one that is thought to be the best. 🤷🏼‍♂️

They should bring back the tyre regulation for Q2 where the top 10 then start on softs most of the time

Teams should have more freedom in tyre changes, the limit of two tyres is boring, bring at team’s decision fuel stops back.
Also get rid of team orders, either the driver has the skill to win or not, protecting a potential champion does not mean he earned it. Example if Perez is only with Red Bill to protect the team and get points, what does it say about Max.
