More than a month after a tornado outbreak left a trail of destruction in eastern Iowa, those trying to rebuild their lives have access to a new resource to help.

“With these smaller declarations, and no declaration is small when it’s your home that’s damaged, we don’t have such a high bar that the disaster has to meet,” said Cynthia Cowell, Public Information Officer for the Office of Recovery and Resiliency at Disasters. .

The SBA has a disaster center set up at the Coralville Library Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.
