In another life, Dr. Giulio Borbon would have been an architect. Today, the aesthetic and regenerative surgeon based in Milan deals with the faces and bodies adjusted in search of “balance.” As he says: “Today, aesthetic medicine is full of ideas that are quite incorrect and dangerous in my opinion, about being perfect, hyper-photogenic, hyperreal. But it’s not about being beautiful or ugly. It is looking for an idea of harmony. “

Borbon has won the next number of followers for soft touch procedures ranging from drops IV to liposuction in Studio Borbon, the clinic found in 2016 in Milan. However, he has lived his architecture fantasies with the opening on March 3, an advanced second place in the clinic in a 1925 villa in the Citylife district in Milan. Once a summer house for a rich Milanese family, the building has been reused for the Borbon international client base. A photograph by François Halard especially in charge hangs on the wall, while the front of the house has been recruited from a five -star hotel; The Borbon team, which numbers 20, will increase to 25 in the next six months.

Looking for his technique of harmonization of his face, Borbon is known for his subtle work with filling. It favors the pro, a patented filling injection that works “in the relationship and balance of the face, without changing the expression or emotional production.” Translation: its ability to lift an eyebrow will not be compromised. “We don’t believe in anti -aging,” he says. “We prefer to think about aging management.” To that end, Borbon works slowly to achieve a more natural effect over time: someone who seeks a facial stretch, for example, may need to book for six sessions over the course of a year. Another common procedure is blepharoplasty, or eyelid surgery, where it is recognized by ordered work, as well as minimizing bruises through personalized treatments after the procedure.

Borbon is remarkable in the world of aesthetic medicine for another reason: reject people. “I don’t say not all the time,” he says about customers with unrealistic expectations and demands. “If you compare, it is impossible, I will be frustrated and you will not be happy.” If there is elegance in rejection, it is also in the former staff of Studio Borbon staff, who are made to measure by Prada. His relationship with the house goes back to 10 years and likes to quote its creative director: “The basis of everything, as Miuccia Prada says, is cultural honesty.” Part and plot of that is improving what nature gave us. “I like when patients want to improve, they want to change things, but basically they like them.”
