JEE Mains 2023 Topper Success Story: The result of Joint Entrance Exam (JEE Mains) 2023 session-2 for admission in engineering course was released on 29 April 2023. This year, 43 students got 100 percentile in both the sessions of BE/B.Tech Paper-1. More than 9 lakh students had given JEE Mains in session-2. Malay Kedia from Uttar Pradesh has secured All India Rank (AIR) 4 in JEE Mains from General Category with NTA score of 100 out of 100. Malay has shared his study plan.
Full focus was on NCERT syllabus
Malay told India Today, “While preparing for Chemistry, I completely focused on NCERT syllabus and kept practicing questions continuously. This boosted my confidence.” Malay believes that NCERT syllabus is sufficient for JEE Mains preparation and apart from this no other book or study material was required.

Malay was taking coaching from Allen Career Institute Pvt Ltd since last year. He says, ‘I prepared according to what Allen’s teachers told me to crack JEE Main 2023. Along with clearing the theory in Physics and Maths, I laid more emphasis on practice. The modules and study material received from Allen are correct. Malay gives the credit of his success to his parents, Allen’s faculties and his mentors.
Malay told further plan
At present, Malay’s focus is on JEE Advanced 2023. He wants to do research in physics after doing BTech from CS branch of IIT Bombay.

Malay was born on 27 October 2005 in Ghaziabad. Earlier, he had also scored 99.99 percentile in JEE Main January session exam. Apart from this, Malay has passed 10th class with 99 percent marks. He is an NTSE scholar and has secured All India Rank 6 in KVPY SA stream. His father Bhaskar Kedia is a sales head in a private company and his mother Shweta Kedia is a home tutor.
