History
The name of Mercedes is one of the most recognizable in the world, and appears for the first time in Formula 1 to 1954. However, the company would completely retire from motor racing at the end of 1955.
It was at the end of the 1960s that the team we currently know when Mercedes began its life in F1, then under the name of Tyrrell. The team finally sold to British American Racing (Bar), with the first season with its new appearance in 1999.

Bar would be associated with Honda, and became the attire of the Japanese manufacturer of 2006. But when Honda announced his F1 withdrawal at the end of 2008, he caused one of the best fairy tales of sport.
