I, who have barely ever watched MotoGP, have never EVER – seen a high side crash where the rider looked like a NASCAR taking flight. What a miraculous turn of events there were no major injuries.

Bastianini mistake is indeed a part of the race.
The only good rule is if a rider is the initiator of the red flag in the first lap, he can't take a new start (if he can)
In my mind, Jorge Martin maneuver on the start was more dangerous than the Bastianini mistake, going extremly fast from right to left side just in front of the pack can be disastrous if there is a contact and a crash at this moment, with all rider full gas and blind from what is coming in front of them…

This is my first full season of watching MotoGP and I love it. But I've never seen the world champion of any sport make so many whoopsies and fall off his bike on his own accord. Glad he's OK. I'm surprised Pecco hasn't been a speed bump more often with the number of unforced errors/crashes he's had this season.

Is there any explanation why Pecco was catapulted like that? Looks like a technical glitch? Rear wheel anti-skid electronics?
Now many riders respect to who that had accidents. They used cursing to Marc and always blame him for the accident happening. None expects an accident but when it happens, give sympathy to them.
