Chris Curtis MP is supporting the business community in his Milton Keynes North constituency by launching a social media campaign.
Their Small Business Saturday campaign will highlight a local small business on social media each week. The goal is simple: attract more customers to local businesses and promote discussion about the importance of buying and sourcing local products.
“Small businesses are the lifeblood of our community, both within the city and on the fantastic high streets of MK North Old Town,” said Chris (pictured above, on Stony Stratford High Street)“But we can’t ignore the fact that business owners are struggling and I want to do what I can to support them.”
Chris is also planning more engagement with local businesses to contribute to discussions with government ministers on future policy. The Labour Party says its primary mission is to grow the UK economy.
“Every pound spent on a small business in Milton Keynes goes back into our local economy and helps us thrive,” said Chris. “As MK North MP, I want to stand up for this. Please tell me where you think I should be campaigning.”
