THEY USUALLY SAY, LET ME OUT IN THE STORE. >> THINK ABOUT IT, I’M GOING TO GO TO THE CAR, I’LL BE BACK IN A WHILE. And then they disappeared, he called the Naples Police, who launched an investigation tonight. He hopes some of you will recognize him. This is not the first time a robber has stolen from the store in Would. We spoke to him in June after a man wearing an umbrella to hide his face broke in and stole tens of thousands of dollars worth of jewelry. Naples Police are still trying to trace that act.

The Naples Police Department is investigating after two thieves walked into an antique store in Naples and stole a $3,000 gold bracelet. On Thursday afternoon, Wilton Wood said two men walked into his store, Treasure Island Antiques Inc., and quickly set their sights on a $3,000 gold bracelet. Wood said they asked an employee to open the display case. One of them distracted the employee, pretending he wanted to buy a watch, while the other reached into the display case and stole the bracelet, putting it in his pocket. Wood said, “He had a wad of cash in his left hand. He covered it with his wad of cash and put it in his pocket.” Wood hopes the community will identify the two men. “They’re pretty different people. One with a bulging belly from a hernia and the other with the goatee and no teeth in the upper left quadrant,” Wood said. This is not the first time a thief has robbed Woods’ store. In June, a man carrying an umbrella to hide his face walked in and stole tens of thousands of dollars worth of jewelry. Naples police said they are still tracking the thief.
