Meta is monetizing children as much as they are the rest of us. But this week, the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) alleged that Meta violated a 2020 order to protect children on the site and that it violated the Privacy Protection Act in agency children’s line. The FTC will not only give another financial slap on the wrist, but is moving to ban Meta from monetizing children entirely.
