A home owner in Arkansas she was horrified when she learned her leaking roof would cost $10,000 to fix, so she came up with a “funny” plan to raise the cash by taking risque photos of her roof and posting them online.
Terah Meishalyn, 24, bought a house in Little Rock less than a year ago and found its roof leaking last month.
Contractors told her the entire roof needed to be replaced for a price of about $10,000, and her home insurance provider said it wouldn’t cover the expense.
“I thought, ‘Oh my God, how am I going to scrape together $10,000 for a problem that clearly needs to be fixed soon?'” Meishalyn told Kennedy News.
“Obviously I was feeling a little down about it and thought I might as well use humor to address the situation because I could laugh or cry.”
To deal with the situation, he organized a photo shoot on his roof and posted the “stupid” photos he calls himself on a Facebook group where people ask for advice.
It subsequently garnered thousands of likes and comments.
“People started making comments, like, ‘Just start a Fans only – make money that way,’” Meishalyn, a former dental assistant, said of the Facebook comments.
“I have a job, but I would consider myself pretty, and I thought I could probably make a decent amount on OnlyFans, and that would be a really quick way to make that money,” Meishalyn, a small business owner, told Kennedy News. .
“So, that’s why I started it initially.”
She said she thought it would be “fun” to take a couple of racy photos wearing just a black leotard on the rooftop and post them, but “realized very quickly I’m not cut out for this.”
“I thought it would be really fun if I started maybe doing some atmospheric photo shoots on my roof, it’s definitely very out of the ordinary, isn’t it? Most people, if they post lewd photos, they’re just in bed or sitting in a chair or something.
“In no way do I despise anyone [posts risque photos to OnlyFans] to make money, but right after watching the content, I didn’t think I was cut out for it or could do it.
Meishalyn told Fox News Digital that she’s still working on raising the money for her roof, including her friend who has set up a GoFundMe page for the effort. Meanwhile, a local roofing company in Little Rock has offered to cover the roof with a tarp to protect it from the storms.
