TikTok Ad Awards Return with New Small Business Awards Category

The TikTok Ad Awards are back to celebrate impactful, authentic and creative Australian campaigns.

Entries for the awards are now open, along with a new category, the Best Small Business Award, celebrating Australian SMEs.

The awards celebrate clients and partners who have achieved innovative results through high-performing paid advertising campaigns on TikTok, recognizing leaders who inspire creativity and bring joy to our community.

“Whether it’s an SME, an established Australian brand or a new disruptor entering the market, TikTok is home to effective marketing campaigns that help brands connect with consumers and grow their business,” he said. “Our new category, the Largest Small Business Award, celebrates the 350,000 small businesses of all shapes and sizes on TikTok that are making a significant impact through paid advertising. “Our partners continue to push the boundaries of creativity, delivering exceptional campaigns and I am excited to see the quality of entries this year,” Armstrong added.

Agencies, brands, partners and small businesses can now submit their work in five categories. Shortlisted entries will be announced in January 2025 and winners will be crowned at our awards evening in Sydney on 19 February 2025.

Categories include: Best Creative Campaign, Best Brand Effectiveness Campaign, Best Small Business, Best Performance Campaign and Greatest For Good Award.

Registrations can be sent via the TikTok Ad Awards website and will close at 11:59 pm AEDT on November 14, 2024. Eligible campaigns must have run during any time period between October 1, 2023 and September 30, 2024.

Last year, TBWA Sydney took home top honors for creative agency of the year at the first-ever TikTok Ad Awards Australia, while Wavemaker took home the title of Media Agency of the Year.

The creative agency was awarded for consistently going “above and beyond and is never shy about using the power that TikTok has as a platform to create innovative, award-winning campaigns that drive results for its clients.”
