TikTok launches a new hub to help brands better connect with their audiences


Tik Tok Announced today that it is launching a new “TikTok World Hub” for brands that is designed to help them learn how to connect with the public and get discovered. The hub outlines TikTok’s suite of advertising tools and best practices when it comes to marketing on its platform.

The center features four main themes: Brand, Commerce, Performance, and Creativity. Different topics include videos with TikTok product leaders and product roadmaps to help educate brands on TikTok advertising. Additionally, TikTok has compiled the full suite of ad products into the center to help marketers find the tools they need to reach the full potential of their content and ads, the company says.

Along with the new TikTok World Hub, the company introduced “TikTok Basics”, which is a framework for brands to get the most out of their advertising campaigns on TikTok.

The launch of the new hub comes as TikTok has been building its momentum in the advertising arena. Last August, the company launched a new set of trade announcements called “Shopping Ads” to make it easier for brands to advertise on the platform. Last May, the company launched a advertising product called “Brand Mission” that allows creators to connect with brands and possibly receive rewards for videos. Also last May, TikTok launched a contextual ads solution He called on TikTok Pulse to attract advertisers to his platform by giving them the ability to display their brand’s content alongside the best videos on TikTok.

Given TikTok’s interest in establishing itself as an e-commerce platform, it is not surprising that it is looking to attract advertisers and build out its advertising suite.
