Bagnaia was simply brilliant … a great race victory for him. Truly felt bad for Binder, he raced awesome and to lose out on a podium again on the last lap was cruel fate. To be fair, he clearly was feeling the pressure from Aleix when his mistake happened so full credit to him and Aprillia for a fine result.

I understand the rule, which states that if you exceed track limits on the last lap you get demoted one position. In this case it's unfair in two ways for Binder. He gained no advantage in exceeding track limits and Jorge Martin did exactly the same thing on the same corner at the last lap and got no penalty or anything. And he was clearly wider than Binder on that corner.
