President-elect of the United States donald trump on Friday he announced that the businessman Bill Briggs will serve as the next deputy administrator of the small business administration (SBA) in its second administration. Trump made the announcement on his ‘Truth Social’ platform.
“I am pleased to announce that Bill Briggs will be the next deputy administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration,” he said.
“Bill will work with our next SBA administrator, Kelly Loeffler, to secure the American dream for small businesses, which are the backbone of our economy,” Trump added.
Who is Bill Briggs?
Bill Briggs is an American businessman who previously served as acting associate administrator in the SBA’s office of capital access during Trump’s first presidential term. During his tenure, Briggs oversaw the historic Paycheck Protection Programwhich saved many companies and millions of jobs, according to Trump.
“Bill is a successful businessman who served during my first term as Acting Associate Administrator in the SBA’s Office of Capital Access.
