UnBar Cafe Owner Takes $20,000 Top Prize at JumpStart Small Business Impact Program Showcase

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Melissa Garrett, owner of UnBar Cafe in Cleveland’s Larchmere neighborhood, won the $20,000 grand prize at JumpStart Inc.’s Small Business Impact Program Showcase.

Tuesday night’s event, held at Cleveland’s House of Blues, celebrated the 20th cohort of JumpStart’s Small Business Impact program, a 12-week accelerator that provides entrepreneurs with personalized advice and business training.

The event featured a pitching competition led by Josh and Maria Cribbs and was presented by the Cleveland Browns. Josh Cribbs is a former Browns wide receiver. He and his wife, Maria Cribbs, host a talk show on local television.
