UP ATS arrests 8 persons including 6 Rohingyas in Kanpur, planning to send them from Delhi to Jammu


UP ATS looked very active on Sunday. The ATS’s raid regarding PFI remained in discussion, but by the end of the night another success was recorded in the account of ATS. Actually UP ATS has arrested 6 Rohingya and 2 Bangladeshi citizens. Among these 8 arrested people, 4 women are also included. 5 Aadhaar cards, driving license, Ayushman card, labor card, 2 UNHCR cards have also been found from the 8 arrested people. UP ATS has arrested these eight near Jhakarkati bus station in Kanpur. All of them had crossed the border of Bangladesh and were being sent from Delhi to Jammu.

Train ticket from Guwahati to Delhi was also recovered.
Train tickets from Kumarghat to Guwahati and from Guwahati to Delhi have also been recovered from the arrested Rohingya citizens. This time UP ATS has also arrested 2 people who were sending Bangladeshi citizens and Rohingya illegally across the border to UP Delhi and Jammu. Among these, Mohammad Zakaria of Jammu and Subir Sabdakar of Tripura are among those arrested. On the other hand, Anwar, a resident of Tripura, used to prepare fake Aadhaar cards and other identity cards after crossing the border. Arrested Subir Sabdakar was taking 6 Rohingyas to Delhi.

The 8 arrested accused include Subir Sabdakar of Tripura, Mohammad Zakaria of Samba in Jammu, Mohammad Shoaib of Myanmar, Noor Mustafa and Bangladeshi nationals Farsa, Sabkur Nahar, Noor Habiba and Rajia.

ATS raided regarding PFI
Earlier, the Uttar Pradesh Anti Terror Squad (ATS) created a stir on Sunday by raiding several cities simultaneously. In Meerut, Moradabad, Varanasi, Azamgarh along with the capital Lucknow, ATS took major action by conducting a search operation simultaneously. ATS has also picked up a youth from Vikas Nagar in Lucknow. A CCTV footage of the youth being caught and taken away has also come to the fore. Along with this, ATS also raided BKT’s Achramau village. In this action, 2 people associated with the Popular Front of India (PFI) have been detained.

Many helpers of PFI are active
It is being told that even after the ban on PFI, many helpers were active. After two months of hard work, UP ATS conducted a state level search operation against PFI. UP ATS raided together in about 30 districts and detained more than 50 people. Everyone is being questioned. UP ATS had received inputs of foreign funding after PFI was banned. Input was received to try to reactivate the banned organization PFI. This search operation was conducted across the state by UP ATS with the input of collecting funds and activating the organization on the ground.
