  1. Loved listening to this podcast. I haven't subscribed to any magazine for probably over a decade. I'm going to pick up the current issue of Women's Health and will definitely be subscribing!

  2. please don’t confuse insufficient protein with vegetarianism – vegetarian doctor here- faux meats aren’t necessary but are a helpful step into less animal products for many people. Any nutrition requires some learning- vegetarianism is no different from an animal inclusive diet – the latter isn’t often done well either. Main point- it is not hard to get plenty of protein from a plant based diet. And being fit n healthy won’t do us much good if we promote resistant bacteria via meat production and scorch the planet with our current agricultural practices.

  3. In episode 199 of Mark Bell’s podcast, Joel Furman states that plant protein is better than animal protein because the protein in our bodies will complete the incomplete protein. Can you please flex your science muscles 💪🏼on this topic and give us the truth 🤓.

  4. Absolutely loved this conversation…. I’m 61 & thriving way past menopause. Lifting heavy weights, eating protein voraciously lol & having great sex…. Planning to continue until I blow past 100 👍👍👍. Thank you

  5. I’d love to get behind the brand with subscribing to the o.g. printed magazine.
One thing I’d need to investigate would be wether or not the finalized messaging is never ideologically bent in anyway.
It’s just that we live in an exhausting landscape of incomplete science and product pushing. What is the mission with regards to “official science” medications, hormones, vaccines, gene studies etc. ? What will the Reader come away with regarding sensational articles or big claims? Will the Readers be receiving bias or opinion? Will it be just unaffiliated neutral news?
It’s important to know if Women’s Health ALWAYS maintains neutrality when it comes to brand new science.

  6. Could you talk about uterine prolapse after menopause? I just learned about it from my older friend. It is advised to avoid lifting heavy weights. I'm worried about using my dumbbells now. Could you verify, if heavy lifting and squatting increases the chances of uterus prolapse?

  7. Dr Lyon, I wish there was more emphasis in media and more tools for a woman’s menstrual cycle as it coincides to her diet and fitness. In Alisa Vitti’s book In The Flo, she describes the 4 phases of our menstrual cycle and how to use them for optimizing our diet and our workout routine. Just want to share since you’re awesome!! 😊
