Devin Haney and Vasiliy Lomachenko will battle for the undisputed lightweight championship on Saturday, May 20. Here’s how to watch the big fight.
On Saturday May 20 Devin Haney defended his undisputed lightweight championship (WBA (Super), WBC, IBF, WBO and The Ring) against Vasiliy Lomachenko.
Haney last fought this past October, where he defeated George Kambosos Jr. by unanimous decision to retain the undisputed lightweight championship. This was a rematch of their fight last June where Haney retained the WBC lightweight championship, winning the WBA (Super), IBF, WBO and The Ring lightweight titles.
Lomachenko, meanwhile, last fought this past October, defeating Jamaine Ortiz via unanimous decision. Not only is Lomachenko looking to snag Haney’s lightweight titles, but he’s also aiming to hand him his first career loss. Coming into the fight, Haney is a perfect 29-0, winning 15 by knockout.
Tensions are high ahead of the fight, as Haney shoved Lomachenko during the final weigh-in.
