Max Verstappen dropped it late in his FP2 qualifying sim race to set the fastest opening day time at the Monaco Grand Prix.
Verstappen set a time of 1m 12.462s to lead second-place favorite Charles Leclerc by just 0.065s in the second practice session in Monte Carlo. Leclerc’s Ferrari teammate Carlos Sainz was third by 0.107s despite a crash late in the session.
